Paris... in words

Good afternoon parents,

We've already had a few very busy days in Paris. We've managed to see most of the sights and take in much of the Parisian shopping and food! Today we spent the morning doing a walking tour of the French Revolution (did you know that the people didn't actually throw produce at Marie Antoinette, because it was too valued and expensive - instead they threw stones). After the walking tour we visited the Notre Dame (on Easter Sunday?!? - it was chaos). From the Notre Dame we went to a museum to see Napoleon's tomb (a 7 layered coffin - in Hughes' words - he's never getting out). From the tomb we went onto the Eiffel Tower and visited the 3rd (and top) floor, it was windy and cold but worth all the effort. Finally, we enjoyed a boat trip down the river and had a chance to see all the sites once more (except Ms. Davidson - she was having a little trouble staying awake).

Dinner was, once again, top notch (aside from the fact that Carter left his hat behind!).

All students are accounted for and in their rooms.
Tomorrow we are off to Euro Disney and then at 2AM we leave for the airport to being our journey home.
We look forward to seeing you all at the airport!

Yours Truly - 7 teachers on tour in Europe.

  1. Hi Jason,

Would you please tell Carter that if he has lost his travel money card it isn't a big deal, I can get it replaced at home. Please also tell him he has enough money left in his bank account (debit card) to take out his daily limit (about 220 Euros)at an ATM (won't work in stores). Hopefully that will get him through Euro Disney! He could still take out about 120 more euros at the airport on Tuesday if needed. Sorry to be writing about money but don't want him to fret nor run short of cash on his last day.
Thank-you for everything, have a safe trip home,
